Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens has a brand new series of events going on this winter.Four fabulous afternoons full of woodland magic, light, lanterns and entertainment.
Nature doesn’t stop when the sun goes down. Take a lantern and see if you can spot the growing mushroom shaped lantern village and charming woodland creatures.
Geared to families and younger children the Gardens want to provide a gentle, low- tech experience to complement the glitzy bright lights available elsewhere.
Over four weekends, visitors will be able to make their own willow and tissue paper lanterns, create natural Christmas tree decorations to take home and explore the enchanted lights and mushroom village as the sun goes down.
On some of the days there will be further entertainment including the Castle Bromwich Singers, a traditional Mummers play from the Glorishears of Brummagem, toasted marshmallows and creamy hot chocolate will add to the warm winter glow.
The season rounds off with a grand Community Lantern Parade and surprise performance in the Gardens on Saturday afternoon 16th December.
