This show is already creating a stream of interest because of the Newley crowned WBC International Super Bantamweight Sean Davis. Davis who won his 2nd title in 11 fights won his title in October is buzzing to be on this show in his home toŵn. Already the English Super Bantamweight champion, Sean is looking very positive in his Boxing life and we hope to see him picking his pace up this year.
Also on the main bill will be one of my favourite boxers from Birmingham, “Ruthless” Ryan Kelly. Hopefully this will be Kelly’s year, already amassing a 7 win record, the Middleweight is one to look out for and an excitement to watch. He is up against Maidenhead fighter Sam Wall. The Berkshire fighter who has had 11 fights does not particularly have a great record with 4 wins 7 losses. However he is tough and mid last year he beat Redditch fighter Carl Dickens.
Middleweight Tom Silcox makes his debut on this show against one of the strangest match ups of the show. In his first fight he is up against Bognor Regis fighter Liam Griffiths. Why it comes over strange is Griffiths has had 75 fights in total. 5 wins, 69 losses with 1 draw. However he has lost most of his fights on points, only loosing the odd few to stoppages.
Also there is Raza Hamza, the Birmingham Featherweight who comes in with 6 wins with 1 draw. The fast hard hitter which is rumoured to have changed trainers recently will be seeing Gloucester boy Andy Harris. Thunder Harris has a record of 3 wins 41 losses and 1 draw under his belt. He will no match for young Hamza and will out point Harris like most of his other opponents.
Unbeaten Tamworth lightweight Charlie Williams who has 6 wins all on points will be up against Leicester’s Lewis Jones in a 6 round title fight on this bill. Jones has had 2 wins, 3 losses and 2 draws.
Eastside’s Super Lightweight Cori Gibbs who has 9 wins will be facing Middlesbrough fighter Ross Jameson. Jameson who has a 1 win record with 6 losses seems to be an unlikely choice with his record. His only win was in fact against Birmingham boxer Jason Nesbitt from last year. He has also fought Connor Benn last year too. Harry Fiaz fight has been pulled of the card and the line is subject to change at any time.
Tickets for this show can be obtained by all fighters on the bill and relevant gyms.
